Excursions
to the most interesting sites of Sardinia:
- A visit to the nuragic complex „Su Nuraxi" of Barumini,
one of the best conserved nuragic sites, which was annexed by the
UNESCO to the list of monuments, worth to be protected;
- this can be combined with a simple trekking tour through the Giara,
which is a park on a mountain platform where you can see wild horses,
if you are lucky. If you wish a pick-nick will be organised.
- Nora, close to Pula, one of the most important ancient cities of
Sardinia's history, which was founded in the 8th cent. BC by the Phoenicians
and later taken over by the Romans (238 BC). You can still find Roman
mosaics, temples, bathes, and the harbours, which are partially covered
by the sea.
- The grotto „Is Zuddas" one of the oldest grottoes in Europe: 600
million years old! Unique crystal formations, stalactites and stalagmites.
- Visit of a wine production manufactory or another handcraft centre.
- Guided visit and Shopping tour at Cagliari.
